Apple crisp is unbeatable when served warm and fresh with some vanilla ice cream!


Prep Time: 45 minutes    Serving Size: 6

  • 4 medium tart apples, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened

Heat oven to 375°. Butter an 8x8x2 square baking dish. Place sliced apples in the pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly in a bowl and sprinkle over apples. Bake 30 minutes or until apples reach desired tenderness and topping is golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
