Apple crisp is
unbeatable when served warm and fresh with some vanilla ice cream!

- 4 medium tart apples, peeled and cut into wedges
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened

Heat oven to 375°. Butter an 8x8x2 square baking dish.
Place sliced apples in the pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly in a
bowl and sprinkle over
apples. Bake 30 minutes or until apples reach desired tenderness and topping is golden
brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. |
