I must admit
that Meat Loaf is not one of my favorite foods. This recipe is from a friend who made it
hoping I would change my thoughts about meat loaf. Even though this recipe is great, I
still can't say I like meat loaf all that much.
Preparation Time: 1 Hour and 30 Minutes Serving Size: 6
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 eggs
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- ketchup (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix all ingredients together well.
Bake in loaf pan for 45 minutes. Take out of the oven cover top with ketchup, if desired,
and cook 15 more minutes.
