Chocolate Chip Cookies
I wonder if
anyone will notice that this recipe is very similar to the Original Tollhouse Recipe found
on Nestle's Chocolate Chip Morsel bag? Sure are good!
Preparation Time: 45 minutes Serving Size: 2 dozen cookies
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 cup (16 tablespoons) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs, room temperature

- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375°. Cream sugars, butter and egg in large
bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. (Dough will be stiff.) Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10
minutes or until light brown. (Centers will be soft.) Cool slightly; remove from cookie
sheet. |
