Creole Seasoning

This versatile seasoning can be used in vegetables, stews, casseroles, on meats and as a blackening season. Make ahead of time and allow to sit in an airtight container as the flavors need to "marry".

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes    Serving Size: 2/3 cup

  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme

Mix all the ingredients together and store in airtight container. Makes 2/3 cup. Use for Blackened meats, to season vegetable or as an all-purpose seasoning.
